Noctrix Health has developed a non-invasive neurostimulation device for the treatment of restless leg syndrome (RLS). The Company’s product, Nidra, is a wearable, drug-free therapy that stimulates the peroneal nerves in the legs bilaterally for 30 minutes daily to relieve RLS symptoms. The product works by using electrical stimulation to tonically activate the muscles in the legs, sending a signal to the brain that prevents activation of the leg muscles in the way that is characteristic of RLS.
